Mpoki Chata Mwaifunga
Mpoki Chata Mwaifunga, a dedicated individual with a family and professional background, is actively involved in various educational and organizational roles in Kyela District, Mbeya Region, Tanzania. Mr. Mwaifunga serves as Vice Director at the Kyela Education Improvement Foundation Organization (KEIFO), overseeing its diverse institutions, including KEIFO English Medium and Primary School, KEIFO Secondary School, KEIFO FM radio, and KEIFO traditional dance. Notably, he also fulfills the vital role of headmaster at KEIFO Secondary School, contributing to the region’s education sector.
Mpoki is firstborn in a family of seven children, consisting of five boys and two girls, including Baraka, who holds employment as a Data Analyst Officer within a specific international NGO, Edroza, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration in Poland, Mfumuke, employed as a government officer in the Pwani region, Exaud and Yuster, who are both university students, and Maiko, the youngest sibling who is still attending school.
Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Mwaifunga enjoys leisure activities such as reading books, listening to music, and watching football matches. His strong support lies with Dar Young Africans, Tanzania’s premier football club, which reached the CAF (Confederation of African Football) league finals in the 2022/2023 season.
